Action-packed Weeklong Skiing Holiday Exploring the Best of Swedish Lapland
Imagine enjoying an action-packed ski holiday in Lapland. You'll enter a beautiful winter wonderland for a week of amazing outdoor adventures surrounded by frozen lakes, deep forests, and stunning mountains.
This exceptional Lapland holiday is based in a small village and ski resort called Tärnaby, 70 km south of the Arctic Circle, on the edge of one of Europe's biggest nature reserves. Talk about a Nordic escape! Here you can race across the snow on a snowmobile safari, go ice fishing for Arctic trout, and drive your own dogsled across the winter landscape with your experienced guide.
You'll also meet a traditional Lapland Sámi family and their reindeer – and try to catch a reindeer with a lasso! This is not your standard ski holiday.
As well as adrenaline-filled activities such as downhill skiing (and cross-country) offered daily, you'll have the chance to go snowshoe walking with a knowledgeable guide, surrounded by the peacefulness of remote Lapland.
And after each adventure-filled day you'll come back to a home-cooked meal in front of a cheerful fire in the friendly village. All this is in a place that is still considered off the beaten track for tourists. It'll be a skiing holiday you'll never forget. (And we bet you'll want to come back.)
