Springtime is certainly different in Lapland! Surrounded by snow-covered mountains, you'll find it hard to believe that this is spring.
As the long days return, nights start getting lighter and the temperature rises (between +5° and –15°C / 41° and 5°F). It's not hard to understand why the Swedes love this time of the year in Lapland. Picnics in the snow are a sign of spring here. No need to worry about snow melting – that will only happen in May.
This hotel feels almost magical – situated all by itself on the border of Northern Europe's largest nature reserves in Lapland. Silence and wilderness surround the hotel and nature is at its most beautiful.

Please note that the hotel does not serve lunch. You will prepare your own lunch package in the morning, including a Thermos. This is a very Swedish tradition – when going for a hike or ski tour, you bring a lunch package in your rucksack. Enjoy an outdoor lunch in the wild! We can also arrange for transport to the village, where you can enjoy lunch at any of the restaurants. (Lunch in a restaurant is not included in the holiday package.)
